BlueFire HR Consulting was founded in 2015 by Stephanie H. Nelson, MBA, CPC, Stephanie Nelson Headshot 2015CHHR –  with the thought of improving efficiencies, advancing cultures, and reducing budgetary expenses for organizations. Stephanie is based in Denver, CO, and has over 20 years of human resources experience in healthcare, technology, manufacturing, non-profit, and a variety of professional fields. Stephanie’s professional career has allowed her to become an expert in workforce topics, labor issues, talent and performance management, reduction-in-force, training, and various organizational initiatives. She has provided expert advice and insight to executive leaders with respect to organizational matters, workforce and labor issues, legislative issues, organizational development, change management, and wide-ranging human resource and governance topics. Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton and obtained an Executive MBA from Thomas More College. Andy Baker, Senior HR Consultant based in Chicago, IL currently works with small and Photo mid-sized companies to support their HR functions and drive HR strategy. A key aspect of his expertise is participating in the development of corporate HR programs as a strategic partner in the following areas: compliance; talent acquisition and onboarding; compensation, benefits and payroll; training; employee retention; and employee relations. As part of his consultative role and personal passion, Andy champions the development and support of areas like employee engagement, culture, and performance management. Andy strives toward building well-rounded recruitment and talent acquisition programs focusing on diversity, military and veteran outreach, as well as campus and university relations. His experience spans various industries that include: IT; financial services and accounting; insurance; healthcare; medical devices and labs; packaging; and food distribution. During Andy’s career, he has held multiple senior HR leadership roles in organizations from Fortune 100 companies to small start-ups. Aisling Byrne, Senior HR Consultant, based in Los Angeles, has over 18 years of Human Resources experience in entertainment, retail, hospitality, healthcare, real estate and non-profit industries as well as a variety of professional services. Aisling provides Aisling Photo 2018 strategic HR direction and has strong expertise in the areas of employment practices, compensation and benefit plans, recruiting, HRIS systems as well as HR policies and operations. Aisling received a Master’s in degree in Business with a focus on Leadership and Management from WGU. Aisling is a certified Senior Professional in HR (SHRM – SCP), and is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist [CEBS] as well as a Six Sigma Green Belt. Aisling also serves as a SHRM Foundation Advisor and mentor for new HR professionals and volunteers as a Google Guru teaching children computer science.  She is also an adjunct instructor at UCLA. Aubrae Davis, HR Consultant, based in Los Angeles, has over 15 years’ experience in the areas of benefits, payroll, and developing HR policies and procedures. Her portfolio includes managing projects for diverse clientele in the following industries: Aubrae Davisentertainment; fashion; hospitality; and law firms. Her passion is providing HR solutions for her clients by helping them build their infrastructure. Aubrae works closely with companies in the areas of new hire onboarding, benefits, payroll, and HRIS.
